The Toronto Harm Reduction Alliance (THRA) wishes to take a moment to recognize the tragic and substantial losses the communities continue to face due to the ongoing drug poisoning crisis. Losses are grief are immeasurable and preventable.
We acknowledge that this crisis is rooted in outmoded, outdated restrictive government policies and regulations that only add to intersecting forms of discrimination including, stigma, racism, sexism and colonialism.
The data we share in these spaces about the crisis we understand refers to our colleagues, friends, families and clients and we appreciate what that means.
