As a self-sustained group that operates independently from the government and institutions that create policies that oppress and abandon our own, THRA refuses to accept any government funding. We solely operate on donations, grassroots grants, and volunteer labour.
To continue to do our work, we need the support of our fellow humans. Everything we receive goes towards our work, and supporting people who use drugs (PWUD).
How to donate:
We use our funds to:
Statement of holdings of funds: Since THRA is a grassroots organization still in its development stage, in order to be considered for grants and other funding opportunities, THRA is temporarily financially affiliated with Parkdale Queen West CHC (PQWCHC) until we have enough money to be established as our own financial entity. All proceeds for THRA are tracked to ensure that the donated money goes directly to us. If you have any questions about our relationship with PQWCHC please contact us.
THRA meetings are a place to get connected to harm reduction happenings in Toronto, voice concerns and be connected. They are held every 2nd Friday of the month on Zoom. Join us! (Sign up on the home page to receive the meeting links.) **Please note: due to the subject matter of our meetings, police are not invited to attend.
